A Sunny Day for the Fete

We were asked to take some alpacas to Misterton Fete a couple of weeks ago but I left the camera behind. Luckily my friend's son was there and he took some lovely ones for us.   I only received the memory stick this afternoon so thought I would take the opportunity to update the blog with them.

For some reason they spent nearly all afternoon lying down.  We have often taken young alpacas to such events and usually they mill around much as they do at home, once they have settled in.  They did not seem particularly unhappy and they are already used to people, dogs, chickens and the cat because they are free ranging around the farm yard to keep the grass neat and tidy.

They were a popular attraction as always and we were very lucky with the weather.
